Lil Ney AI: what was reported about the video
On Friday, October 2, 2026, Neymar published the clip on his Instagram account. CNN Brasil, Jornal da Orla, Estrelando and other Brazilian outlets covered it that day and the next, and all of them quote the same short caption, 'Lil Ney'. Lil Ney AI is a search label for that single post, not the name of a product.
In the comments, the footballer Gabigol wrote 'Real trapper', and Neymar answered that the next feature was on the way. Reports treat this as banter; none confirms a release.
What no source has confirmed
Neymar and his team have not said which AI tool made the video. Articles describe it as made with artificial intelligence and stop there. One site claims about fifteen million views within hours, but only a single outlet printed that number, so we do not repeat it as fact.
Some commercial tools say the clip features a Brazil training top or predict how far it will spread. These are marketing claims and have not been confirmed by any news report we checked.
How to make your own Lil version
You do not need Neymar's tool to make something similar. Upload a clear photo of yourself to the Popstar AI generator, wait for the vertical render, and caption it with 'Lil' plus your own name or nickname. Most people searching Lil Ney AI want the same look with their own face.
Because the face comes from your own upload, the result is about you, not a copy of his post. Do not upload photos of Neymar or any other public figure; they are blocked and the clip would imply an endorsement that does not exist.
